Fun Field Trials
Once again we will be holding our for fun field trial series this fall and winter for pointing and flushing breed dogs. These trials have been well received and fill up fast because it is a good time for all. Our dates have been set you will find them on the field trials page.
Recent Message from our incoming chapter President
I'd like to say
thanks to those of you who took part in our first fun trial of the
season. I believe we had a excellent time and saw some great dog work.
There will be attached the scores for the trial. You will also notice
that there is a column for the final score. This year in addition to our
"Dog Of The Year" plaques we will be awarding prizes for the top three
positions in the form of gift certificates for both pointing and
flushing divisions. We will also be giving some small prizes for
placements at the trials and will make them retroactive for those of you
who placed in the top three of each division at the previous trial.
For
those of you that haven't joined in come on out and have some fun. You
will be surprised at just how much ground you can make up in a
trial. Speaking of which our next trial will be hosted at Clay Ridge 315
Jess Lane, Stokesdale on January 14, 2012.
This will be a new venue for our us and from what I hear should work
out great. There will be at least two email flashes coming out in the
next few weeks about the trial as reminders for everyone.
A Message concerning the upcoming field trial
Next fun field trial is Saturday January 14th at Clay Ridge in Stokesdale.
Please remember to call in your entries by Wednesday night at 9 pm @ 336-408-0108 or email smickel3@lexcominc.net.

will be running both pointing and flushing dogs. The entry fees are $30
for the first dog and $25 for each following dog, call backs are $20.
Lunch is included in the entry fee. If you have friends or fellow
members that are not sure about joining in the fun please encourage them
to come out. Clay Ridge has a great facility to observe the runs or we
can get a person up and scoring in short time.
